The Revolutions Series for Second Life is a series of units that can be connected region wide to a network. Tip jars, statboards, infoboards and greeters can be synced via Server units to work together.
Please check out the different unit types:
Servers
The servers are the central units to set up your Revolution Network. All Revolutions Units can be connected with servers. There are different types of servers. Standard Servers (like ST100, SX101) can build a network with all different types of units and they can manage up to 32 units, while Tiny Servers (like ST055, SX060) only work together with up to 12 Tip Jars and Stat Boards.
Tip Jars
Tip Jars can be connected to any server. Guests can tip your DJs, Hosts, Dancers and what ever you have else, too. Tips are logged within the servers and statistics about the tips can be displayed on the Stat Boards.
Statboards
You will need a Tiny Server or Standard Server for your Stat Boards, they won’t work without. Different types of Stat Boards can display different statistics like most tippes, last donor and so.
Infoboards
Infoboards work without server but they can be connected to Standard Servers, too. If you want to log information about usage of your sim or boards, connect them to your network.
Greeters & Inviters
Greeter & Inviters are special Infoboards. They can work without connection, too, or can be synced to your Standard Server to log data.
Tools
At the moment there is only a workstation to configure your boards centrally. You can change the color of all your units or the color units of a special type. Same for club logo. Additionally you can set the tip jar owner share and in future you will be able to manage the administrative users for all units. These tools need a Standard Server to be connected to.
